Anita Elberse will discuss her first book, “Blockbusters” at USC on Thursday, October 24th at 7:30 pm. The presentation and book-signing reception will take place at Newman Recital Hall. Elberse’s research reveals why executives often spend outrageous amounts of money in search of the next blockbuster, why superstars are paid unimaginable sums, and how digital technologies are transforming the entertainment landscape.
