According to Engadget, Kjellberg made $4 million the year before by “playing video games, recording his reactions and uploading the resulting videos to YouTube.” Kjellberg has defended himself following social media backlash by noting his many charitable contributions. In addition, he claims his “bro army” (fans) raised more than $1 million for various charities.
